1. An enquiry is not an agreement
Submitting the River House brief starts a conversation. It does not reserve a donor, create a purchase contract, guarantee a completion date or create an obligation to proceed.
2. Scope and specification
A project scope, specification, donor vehicle, budget, timing, payment schedule and responsibilities must be agreed in a separate written agreement before work begins. The final condition and scope depend on inspection and the agreed brief.
3. Pricing
Any starting prices shown on the commission page are indicative starting points and may exclude options, VAT, shipping and other agreed costs as stated. A binding price must be confirmed in the written project agreement.
4. Donor and parts
Donor availability, identity, condition, parts availability and unforeseen work can affect scope and cost. River House will communicate relevant findings as the project develops. No mechanical, registration, export, delivery or warranty claim is made unless expressly confirmed in writing.
5. Acceptance
The final acceptance, payment, delivery, title, risk and any warranty arrangements must be stated in the specific agreement for the project. These draft website terms do not replace that agreement.
6. Project-specific terms
Payment, cancellation, consumer, warranty, delivery, import/export and dispute terms are discussed personally with the client and recorded in the separate project-specific agreement before the commission proceeds. That agreement governs the actual commission.
